Make a Booking
We are open all year for bookings. The reservation office, based out of season in Meribel, is open every day Monday to Friday during the inter-season. (With a few exceptions here and there)
Summer bookings will mainly be looked after by Leah and Carol who know the ropes well and can answer any unusual requests you may have.
Our new online booking system via our website is currently being setup and should be available soon. In the meantime bookings can be made via email latania@magicfr.com, a telephone call to our office on +33 479 01 07 85 or using our contact page on the website.
As many of our classes are very popular all season long we recommend pre-booking of all lessons as early as possible. It is particularly important when booking for school holidays that the lessons should be booked at the same time as the accommodation to avoid disappointment later.
Booking Procedure
We have a relatively automated booking system that is web based, accordingly an email address is essential for booking although fax can be used.
In order to make a booking we need the following details:
- Name of each client (not just party leader for group lessons)
- Name of tour operator if relevant
- Ages for children imperatively and a rough idea for adults
- Levels
- Dates of arrival
- Chalet or Hotel name in resort
- Type, time and frequency of lessons required
- Mobile telephone number (very important)
- An email address for the person dealing with the reservation
On receiving a booking enquiry we check availability and reply by email with a booking proposal form showing exactly what lessons we propose; the times, dates, levels (if groups), prices and meeting point.
This form is a reservation proposal. If the client wishes to accept this proposal and in order to confirm it full payment is required. If a proposal is not confirmed within 5 days these lessons will not be held.
While waiting for our online booking system payment can be made in a two ways:
- By filling in the space on the booking proposal form with their credit card details and faxing it or scanning and sending it back to us;
- Or by ringing the office and giving us their card number by phone.
Upon receipt of payment we send confirmation of payment of booking including location details.
Between two and one weeks before the first lesson we also send an automatic reminder by email of the lessons booked again detailing the location of our meeting point.
